McMillan Pazdan Smith is an architecture, planning, and interior design firm. Our purpose is to create meaningful and lasting impact for the good of all. We work to design a better future through thoughtful, creative, and purpose-driven solutions.
Practicing since 1955, McMillan Pazdan Smith currently has 11 studios throughout the Southeast. Our practice areas are Industrial, Commercial; Civic + Cultural; Higher Education; K-12; and Healthcare. Knowledge is developed and shared across and within each area, ensuring designers are thoughtful leaders in their areas of expertise.
Our firm’s Industrial and Commercial Practice Areas have supported international and domestic clients across the Southeastern United States for more than 30 years. Recent projects include light and heavy advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, assembly, logistics, corporate headquarters, and product distribution facilities that range from 20,000 SF to over 1M SF. We take immense pride in our rich history of collaborating with international clients and spearheading architectural projects funded by foreign-direct investment. Our journey with international clients has been a remarkable one. We have had the privilege of working with clients from diverse countries, each with unique visions, requirements, and cultural backgrounds.
This cultural sensitivity allows us to craft designs that not only meet our clients’ expectations but also resonate with the local context, ensuring a harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality with respect to the established cost constraints of the project budget.
