Last month, Ulf Kranz, President & CEO, Miele Manufacturing Inc. in Opelika, announced that they had celebrated the assembly of the 10,000th oven and range.
Just a little over one year after launching production, Miele Manufacturing Inc. has reached this significant milestone. This achievement marks a strong first year for the young operation and highlights the company’s rapid growth in a competitive home appliance market.
The landmark unit rolled off the assembly line at the production facility in Opelika, where leadership and employees gathered to celebrate the occasion. Global management described the milestone as a testament to the dedication of the workforce and the strong market demand for the company’s products.
The milestone also signals a positive economic impact for the region. Over the past year, the company has created nearly 50 jobs in manufacturing, logistics, and administration, contributing to local economic development. Suppliers and service providers in the surrounding area have likewise benefited from the facility’s growth.
