Come out to network! This is a great opportunity for German expats to meet and for other German speaking/practicing to improve your German. Speaking German is encouraged but not required. We meet every month (every other month will be in Birmingham).

Carrigan’s Beer Garden has a great selection of beverages and food for purchase. Family and kids are welcome. 

What does “Stammtisch” mean? A Stammtisch is an informal group meeting held on a regular basis, and also the usually large table around which the group meets. A Stammtisch is not a structured meeting, but rather a friendly and casual get-together.

Angelika Otte has been serving as the Language Program Director at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta since 2021. She supervises the language learning program as well as the exam program, both accredited by the Goethe-Institut.

Goethe Zentrum Atlanta was established over 40 years ago as a branch of Germany’s Goethe Institut, the premier German culture and language instructional organization whose global policy is to foster Germany’s relationships with other countries. Come join us for networking and get an overview of EDPA’s role in Alabama’s economic development. The presentations will include topics like on EDPA’s work to support business attraction, innovation and entrepreneurship in Alabama; and EDPA’s talent retention and attraction initiatives 

 After EDPA there will be an opportunity to continue the socializing at Good People Brewing Company across the street from EDPA.
