Hallo, Freunde! We are excited to host the first Tuscaloosa area Stammtisch in over a year! Please come meet us at Hotel Capstone Wednesday, June 30th. If you are one of our German friends, our American friends who simply want to learn more about the German language and culture – or just wanted to have a drink and enjoy time with friends. We would like to cordially invite you to join us at Hotel Capstone from 5:30 – 7:30 PM poolside (weather permitting). Your first drink is free – kostenlos – if you ask me for it in German, so practice ahead of time. Snacks are complimentary. The Barbara Fischer Education Award will be presented to Anja Werth of Auburn University by Dr. Traci O’Brien, Auburn University & AGP Board, and Executive Committee Member at the Stammtisch. This award is presented to someone who has contributed significantly to the advancement of the Alabama-Germany relationship in the areas of education and culture and to the vision of the AlabamaGermany Partnership.
