Please plan to join us for a webinar about the Internship Program presented by the Alabama Productivity Center on Wednesday, September 17, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. Calendar invitation will go out shortly.

We will be joined by Jan Brazeal Ingenrieth, Director of the Internship Programs at the Alabama Productivity Center (APC). She will share the APC Internship Program with us.

The program provides internship opportunities for students in various fields like engineering, management, IT, HR, finance, and more. It aims for a mutually beneficial outcome for both the company and the student participants, who are often juniors, seniors, or graduates.

The program eases the process for the company of having interns. APC can even select the interns for you, but you can also screen the resumes and interview the students that APC has found. Learn more about how this program works and how it might benefit your company.

German dinner menu and beverages can be purchased. There will also be an opportunity to shop for German items like chocolates, candies, Nutcrackers & Smokers, traditional Oktoberfest outfits and accessories, and other German goodies.

Monika Müller at the Nook will serve German Jägerschnitzel, pan-fried potatoes, and cucumber salad. German dinner has to be pre-ordered by Sept 26. The Nook has a large selection of 400+ beers.

What does “Stammtisch” mean? A Stammtisch is an informal group meeting held on a regular basis, and also the usually large table around which the group meets. A Stammtisch is not a structured meeting, but rather a friendly and casual get-together.
