EVENT IS HOSTED BY GOETHE ZENTRUM IN ATLANTA GA
The German word, “Frühlingsfest”, means “spring festival”. An annual family-friendly celebration of the spring season, Frühlingsfest takes place in cities all over Germany, such as München and Stuttgart. With over 1.2 million participants each year, Frühlingsfest makes its name as the largest spring festival in Europe.
At our Avondale Estates Frühlingsfest, we exhibit a variety of local artists and traditional German dishes, drinks, and beer – in addition to a welcoming opportunity for all to learn more about the Germanic culture and language!
The Goethe Frühlingsfest is located in the arts district of downtown Avondale Estates, Georgia, where a sparkling art scene is at home, and where three breweries provide some of the finest German-inspired beer this side of the Atlantic.

The German American Business Outlook (GABO) has been done annually since 2009 by the German American Chambers of Commerce. They surveyed German subsidiaries in the US to assess current economic developments and trends in transatlantic business. The GABO is one of the most important economic indicators of German American business relations. A short briefing of the report will be presented by Matthias Hoffmann, president & CEO of the German American Chamber of Commerce South.
We will also be joined by the Alabama Department of Commerce’s European Office Director, Christoph Doerr, that will give a short briefing on the German (and European) market in general and their outlook on investing in Alabama.
THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS SPONSOR:
