Welcome to the Samford University German Conversation Course, which meets on Monday evenings at Russell Hall 208 on Samford University Campus. We will meet 6:00 – 6:55 p.m. (Intermediate). This course will meet from September 9, 2019.
After Christmas, we will resume our normal class schedule on Monday, January 13, 2020. The spring semester will end on Monday, May 11, 2020. The university will be closed (and/or class cancelled) on the following dates during the Spring semester:
January 20, 2020 – MLK Day
March 9, 2020 – Spring Break
April 13, 2020 – Easter Monday
May 4, 2020 – Final Exam week
The cost to attend the Monday night sessions is $5.00 per class. If you wish to join the class you simply show up.

The International Skills Conference brings together champions in apprenticeship programs, modeled after the German system, with businesses, regional and state leaders who are interested in solutions for small and middle-sized employers in order to grow a globally competitive high skilled workforce.
We will have guests from the US and German governments who will outline the German American partnership on skills initiatives. The German ministry of economics will also be showcasing one of their pilot programs with their German and American partnerships.
German Conversation Table – Starting again September 4, 2019. Every Wednesday from 1:00-1:50 at the tables on the 3rd floor of Wesleyan Hall at The University of North Alabama in Florence. All levels of German speakers welcome.

Join us for a tour of Birmingham’s only distillery and plenty of networking opportunities after the tour.
The Dread River Distillery tours are an intimate and educational experience. This tour includes a 30-45 minute tour of their distillery where you get to learn about the process and finishes with a tasting of their spirits. The fee of $10 will cover the tour and tasting. Drinks and food is available for purchase.
