Volunteer

As a nonprofit organization, AlabamaGermany Partnership (AGP) cannot operate without the help from our interns and volunteers. Typical responsibilities for volunteers include assisting with events, doing support work for German expats, or functioning as an outreach partner for the organization. There are various opportunities to help, and we can tailor to individual’s interests and/or capabilities. 

Examples of responsibilities:

• Event set-up
• Name-tag preparations
• Manning the registration table
• Welcoming attendees
• Decorations
• Manning presentations
• Supporting German expats
• School and community outreach
• Proofreading (English or German)

Time commitment:

Anything from an hour up to a full day or night. You let us know how much availability you have and we will work with that.
