A big name in Alabama’s manufacturing scene is coming to Birmingham for an upcoming BBJ event.
Federico Kochlowski, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc. (MBUSI), will speak at the BBJ’s Manufacturing Awards on Oct. 16.
Kochlowski, who has been CEO of MBUSI since May 2024, has years of experience in the automobile manufacturing industry.
He previously was vice president of operations for MBUSI and spent four years at Cooperation Manufacturing Plant Aguascalientes working as director of production operations and CEO.
Additionally, he spent 11 years working for Beijing Benz Automotive Co. Ltd. and four years for Beijing Benz Daimler Chrysler.
