The $53 million parts assembly and sequencing plant will locate on Will Walker Road and bring 373 new jobs to Tuscaloosa County.
The project will help support Mercedes’ electric vehicle production, and the center’s primary purpose is serving as a storage and sequence facility for parts used in EVA production. The plant is expected to be completed by July 2022.
