The Mercedes-Benz Group Annual Press Conference shared the end-of-2022 results Friday. The Mercedes-Benz Group has expanded its offering of battery-electric vehicles to nine passenger cars and four vans, including the new EQS SUV and EQE SUV – built here in Alabama – and the most recently introduced new eSprinter. Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. (MBUSI) shares its updated statistics from year-end numbers as of December 31, 2022.
Plant Tuscaloosa:
— In 2022, around 260,000 (2021: around 260,000) vehicles have been produced in Tuscaloosa.
— The Mercedes-Benz plant Tuscaloosa employs around 6,300 people in 2022. (2021: around 4,500)
